What crisis leadership and management insights have we gained from the COVID-19 pandemic to incorporate into the business school curriculum? It is interesting that scholars, management practitioners and journalists often use the terms crisis management and crisis leadership interchangeably. This session explores the value of encouraging MBA students to find relevant media to make sense of organising during (mega)crises. Julie Davies will highlight cases of urgent and effective institutional and interpersonal responses with leaders responsibly containing distress through regular dialogue for purposeful collective action to resolve immediate issues that open up new futures.
