On 22 March, Manchester Metropolitan University
was delighted to introduce the first of its new series of events called ‘In
Conversation with’.
The inaugural event was hosted online by university alumna,
Lara Williams, who spoke to poet and novelist Helen Mort about her experience
as a writer. Helen also gave an exclusive reading from her new book, ‘A Line
Above the Sky’, which is her first full work of non-fiction, and has been
listed in the Guardian Books to Watch 2022.
Our next 'In Conversation with...' event will be with
Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef CEO, Andy Ridley in May. Make sure you keep
