Working in homelessness: about as many people die as those who recover. In contrast to PC staff, hostel staff at the start of their careers are probably unaware about  how much eol work is involved.  

This podcast raises the issue of how common death is among residents in hostels – and how staff are required to swap from End of Life care to recovery focused work as they go from one resident to the next.
