As the academic year draws to a close, I would like to thank you for your contribution to our University’s continued success.
As you will hear in my video message, by working together we have continued to ensure that our students receive an outstanding educational experience, that our research is high quality and impactful, and that we are running the university in a sustainable manner.
Our performance in the National Student Survey (NSS) deserves a special mention. We have been ranked 7th in England and 11th in the UK by The Times. This is an outstanding achievement for a university of our size, and I hope that you can take pride in the vote of confidence that our students have given us.
Notwithstanding the challenges that lie ahead, I am looking forward to the next academic year with confidence and excitement, and I hope that you are too. Thank you once again for the many and extraordinary ways in which you have contributed to Manchester Metropolitan, and I look forward to continuing our work together.
