Sarah Moriarty and Rod Cullen discuss the use of Miro, a online digital whiteboard that is one of the university's Apps for Teaching and Learning Toolkit. Sarah explains how experiences of using Miro during the COVID 19 pandemic to replicate the "Studio" pedagogy approach that prevails in the teaching of Product Design have informed her approaches ever since. She describes how Miro has enabled the creation of what she consisders to be an equitable, inclusive learning space for differentiated learning. In a wide-ranging conversation Sarah shares her experiences of developing COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) programmes, curriculum co-design and development, flexible active learning aligned with the principles of DELTA strategy and set within our learning spaces framework.
